LABELS

This week, the task was to design two labels for each product: jam, yogurt and juice, but we could only use blue, red or yellow ranges, one on each type of label.
So, I decided to apply the range of red to the jams that would be strawberry and raspberry, blue for yogurts, a natural and a coconut flavour, and finally the range of yellow would go for lemon and pineapple juices.
I did not want to fill the marmalade labels of many details since the same color of the product is powerful. In this way, I opted for a white background with a drawing of the product that was inside the container, the name and finally a touch of color in the lower part of reddish colors.

For yogurts, the first thing that came to mind was the Greek yogurt and when I thought about this I decided that the label could incorporate arches that are characteristic of Greek architecture.
The label of natural yogurt is a blue background, painted with watercolor, with two arches, one at the top and one, inverted, at the bottom. The name of the product is between the two arches following the forms of these.
In the case of coconut yogurt, I inverted the colors of the previous label, leaving the blue arches and the white background, although this time I added a bit of gradient in the blue, made with watercolor.

Finally, for the juice labels I wanted something that was intuitive and not a conventional label like we are used to see.
The idea is based on the fact that the label has the least space painted and what has just been filled is the same liquid that is seen in the container through the glass. In this way, you see how much product remains at all times.
In the case of lemon, the juice fills the interior space, giving it body to the citrus, and for the pineapple it looks as if it had fallen in and splashed.
