BOOK OBJECT: TRAVELING
This project was realized as the final exam of Graphic design & communication.
It was one of the best exams I ever did since I enjoyed it and it also became a part of and a book I will continue to fill with all my trips.
My first idea for this book was obviously to do something related to travel and the world. I always loved traveling, but for now I only visited some places in Europe but I hope I can visit much more places in my life.
I started by analyzing all the traveling I had done since then and I had gone to places like Venice, Frankfurt, London, Rome, País Vasco, Geneva, and others. So I began to look for the pictures I took in those places and organizing the work.
I bought some printed papers, some tape and I already had the markers and the glue. I used 16x16cm cardboard as a base to paste and paint all my memories.
Once I had it al ready, I put all the trips in chronological order and I started cutting, pasting and painting.
I also used some cardboard from a gift I got from my friends. They know how much I love traveling so they bought me this amazing green poster with 100 places to visit, and every place you step a foot on, you can quit the piece of cardboard that has its name on. Once you take it off, a little representative draw from the city appears.
I kept those cardboards and I pasted them on the book object, while the poster remains in my room.
I felt very hapy once I finished since I achieved my goal: I passed my exam and the subject and I also got something with a special value for me that I will continue to write and I will kept for many years. It will remind me how happy I was while traveling with my family, my friends and all the friends I met abroad.
